Further Businesses Allowed to Reopen

Yesterday the Government announced the next phase of the careful reopening of the economy, with further businesses and venues given permission to reopen in the coming days and weeks.

The announcement means that:

Driving Lessons & Tests to Restart in England

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has announced plans to restart driver services – that is driving and riding lessons and theory and practical driving tests for all categories of vehicle. 

PM Announces Easing of Lockdown Restrictions

The Prime Minister has just set out some further changes to the lockdown measures in England which will enable people to see more of their friends and family, help businesses get back on their feet and get people back in their jobs.

From 4th July:

Plans to Ease Shielding Guidance

An update for those shielding.

From 6th July, those currently shielding will be able to:

✅ Meet in groups of up to six people outdoors
✅ Form a 'support bubble' with another household

From 1st August, shielding ends in England.

COVID-19 Alert Level Moved From Level 4 to Level 3

The Chief Medical Officers for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have reviewed the evidence and agree with the Joint Biosecurity Centre's recommendation to move the COVID-19 Alert Level from Level 4 to Level 3 across the UK.
