Robert Courts attends Oxford Rail Summit

Robert said, "I greatly enjoyed the Oxford Rail Summit in Westminster with Great Western Railway, Network Rail and Chiltern Railway.  I thank Lord Faulkner for hosting and for the leader of the County Council, Ian Hudspeth, and MP for Wantage, Ed Vaziey for attending.

Robert Courts meets Minister about improvements on the A34

Robert had an enjoyable  transport meeting today with Minister Jesse Norman to discuss A34 improvements and the Oxford-Cambridge Expressway, with Ed Vaizey and Richard Benyon - positive steps on the A34 will have a huge impact on West Oxfordshire and the A40.

Charlbury WI visits Robert in Parliament

Robert said, "Last week was UK Parliament Week, a great initiative to encourage more people to understand the work of Parliament and learn about its history.  This year, there have been over 4,000 events held in almost every constituency of the UK, and with up to 33,000 people participating.

Robert takes part in Poppy appeal in Parliament

Robert took part in the IPT Poppy Ride this morning, supporting the Poppy Legion's poppy appeal in aid of our armed forces veterans - the challenge was to cycle as far as possible in a certain time - a great way to fundraise and work up a sweat!
