Robert said, "I was honoured to be officially sworn in again as the Member of Parliament for Witney and West Oxfordshire. Thank you to the people of West Oxfordshire for once again putting your faith in me to serve you - I will never take your trust for granted.
Robert said: "Listening to the concerns of local business, I have campaigned tirelessly for a fundamental review of the business rates system through my role as Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Small Business.
Robert said: "The Woodstock Fire Station crews are a wonderful team who have raised tens of thousands over the years for Children In Need - they, and the cause they raise for, really do show the very best of our area and our country.
Robert said: "I made my first speech on climate change when I was at school - and have been a passionate conservationist ever since. Living in West Oxfordshire, with its beautiful green countryside and diverse wildlife, environmental considerations are always at the forefront of my mind.
Robert said: "It was an honour to attend the Remembrance Sunday service in Witney today, to lay a wreath and to remember all those who have fallen in combat, those who have served, and those who serve today.
We passed the world’s first Climate Change Act over a decade ago with cross-party support to give us both a framework to set statutory carbon budgets and set up the independent Committee on Climate Change.
Motorists, bus users and cyclists who regularly use one of West Oxfordshire’s busiest and most important transport routes have reason to celebrate today with the announcement of a £102m funding boost for the A40.
