COVID-19 Alert Level Moved From Level 4 to Level 3

The Chief Medical Officers for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have reviewed the evidence and agree with the Joint Biosecurity Centre's recommendation to move the COVID-19 Alert Level from Level 4 to Level 3 across the UK.

The CMOs note that there has been a steady decrease in cases and that this trend continues. While progress has been made the medical experts have reminded the public to continue to follow the guidelines carefully to ensure this progress continues.

Commenting, Robert said: "This is a positive development that shows the strategy is working and the situation is improving. Really encouraging as we look to continue with the plan to gradually and safely reopen society in the weeks and months ahead."
