High Quality Healthcare for All

Since being elected as your MP, healthcare has been one of my very highest priorities. With Oxfordshire Health bosses looking at how to make Oxfordshire's health services work best in the future, as well as issues with local services, this is an essential topic that I will continue to work hard on.

Our NHS and the services it provides are vital to us all.  From ensuring Chipping Norton residents are consulted, to campaigning for better GP access in our rural area, I will always fight for local services.  I will focus on building key relationships to understand the complex challenges that surround them, and work to improve mental health provision and adult social care.

Meeting with Deer Park Patient Participation Group

I have further met with representatives from the Deer Park Patient Participation Group to discuss the latest updates surrounding this closure.

I am grateful for the Groups hard work locally to ensure this proposed closure is fully investigated.

Deer Park Update

Since coming back to Parliament after Christmas, I have continued to raise the issue of Deer Park Medical Centre at the highest levels.

I have further written to the Secretary of State for Health, other health Ministers, NHS England and further written to OCCG.

Discussions on the Oxon NHS Transformation Programme consultation

My first meeting this morning was with Oxfordshire CCG, discussing the many pressing health issues specific to West Oxfordshire.

Victoria Prentis and I discussed with  Trust and CCG the Oxon NHS transformation programme consultation. There is still much to be ironed out.
