Oxford Mail - Witney MP Robert Courts trains Dementia Friends

Witney MP Robert Courts finished his annual Communities Week by training local residents to become Dementia Friends. Mr Courts spent five days visiting local businesses, charities and volunteer groups and rounded off the week at the Corn Exchange in Witney.

Robert teaches Hanborough Manor School about Parliament

Robert said, "It was a fantastic assembly at Hanborough Manor - I loved the enthusiasm of pupils, and they made some excellent points in our debate.  However, the Commons overruled the Lords and decided to pass a Bill which would scrap all lessons and only do P.E.

Robert visits the Junior Citizen Trust

Robert said, "Today on my Communities Week, I visited the Junior Citizens Trust along with two West Oxfordshire primary schools - Wychwood Primary School and Enstone Primary School.

Robert drops in on Chipping Norton Day Centre

Robert said, "It was great to join members of the Day Centre in Chipping Norton for a chat, and to meet with staff.  An excellent local facility, that is a key hub of the local community for many."
