Robert said, "To leave the European Union but to remain in the customs union would be the worst of all worlds. It would mean surrendering, subject to whatever agreement is subsequently reached, 100% of our trade policy to Brussels and having zero say on that policy.
Emergency Workers face abuse and assaults whilst carrying out their job, and Robert is keen to support putting more protections in place to ensure their safety. Indeed, later in this debate Robert states the shocking statistic that in Oxfordshire in 2015 there with 800 assaults on NHS staff, but
Robert said, "I was pleased to join Keep Britain Tidy in Parliament yesterday to thank all those who took part in this year's GB Spring Clean - excellent work to help the fight against litter."
Robert said, "I enjoyed what was an extremely insightful visit and to be joined by my fellow Oxfordshire MPs. Recruitment and retention was high on the agenda, and I look forward working closely with Oxford University Hospitals Trust going forward."
Robert questioned the Secretary of State for Defence, Gavin Williamson, about the modernising defence review and pressing the case for the consideration of national partners to be included in this.

Robert said, "Woodstock’s beautiful open air pool is now open for the summer. I visited with the local team on the first Saturday of the season and enjoyed being shown around by the dedicated team that run this hugely valuable local amenity."
