I have been calling for Oxfordshire County Council to carry out the much-needed repairs to Radcot Bridge since late last year. I know that many residents remain frustrated at the delays and want to see this local landmark repaired as soon as possible.
I have repeatedly made it clear to OCC that When these repairs begin, they must be done to the highest possible, like-for-like standard of work to maintain the bridge's historic character and charm. While I understand that this work requires appropriate consideration, it is disappointing that OCC’s current working timeline to begin work is not until Autumn 2024 at the earliest.
I am continuing to follow progress on this closely.
