Robert said, "It is fantastic that in West Oxfordshire superfast broadband is being rolled out. However, in order to fit the wires needed, broadband providers are digging up our roads. I asked Ministers to work with Local Authorities to see if a solution can be found that either verges are dug up instead, or - if necessary to use roads - that our roads are properly repaired at the same time - perhaps fixing surrounding potholes."
