Supporting families and children should always be at the top the Government’s agenda and as a father myself to two young children, I know full well how important it is that the next generation get the best start in life.
Our community needs better local transport, from trains and buses to roads and cycling, I have been working hard to campaign for residents on these matters.
Improving the A40
Since becoming your MP, I have been campaigning for upgrades to the A40.
We’ve all lost hours sat in traffic. Worried about road safety. Hoped for improved rail services or for the Council to repair more potholes. Or wished that there were better bus services or cycle routes for our rural local area.
The lack of the shops & sports pavilion promised by developers here on Windrush Place is not good enough. Robert & Thomas have been keeping the pressure on with the Council over the last few months - but they have not yet taken action. It is not good enough.
Like other local residents, I have been looking carefully at the proposals put forward to create a “Botley West Solar Farm”, which will significantly impact upon Tackley, Wootton, Glympton, Bladon, Woodstock, Long Hanborough, Church Hanborough, Rousham, Eynsham and Cassington in West Oxfordshire.
