Back British Farming Day

On Back British Farming Day, I am delighted that the Government has announced new plans to boost British produce by backing the buy British Button.

The Government has today announced a package of measures to help and encourage people in the UK to buy British produce, whilst also providing farmers with the funding they need to invest in their businesses by making the first Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) payments available this year.

I am pleased that the Government has fulfilled the commitments it made at the Farm to Fork Summit and has now announced a package of measures to support our hardworking farmers.

On Back British Farming Day I would like to say an enormous thank you to all our farmers in West Oxfordshire for their continued dedication and commitment to putting food on our plates and looking after our countryside.
